Saltbush Low intensity Mental Health Services (LIMHS) provides free counselling and psychosocial education to people in Darwin, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs.


This support is available to people aged 15 and over with telehealth options also available to remote communities. LIMHS can support people who may be experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, which may include: 

  • life stressors

  • grief and loss

  • relationship challenges

  • social isolation

  • low mood

  • anxiety

  • other wellbeing concerns


Accessing this service

Referrals can come from your regular doctor, allied health professionals or community services. Individuals can also refer themselves. 

This is a free service with no cost. 

NT Government employees can also access this support through EAP.
