What's on at the Katherine Walk In Talk In Space

Operated by the Jawoyn Association and led by the Banatjarl Strong Wimun Group, Katherine Walk In Talk In is a welcoming space for anyone to access free mental health, social and emotional wellbeing support.

Located in Katherine Shopping Centre, the space offers: 

• Immediate support and mental health services for all community members

• Culturally appropriate Men’s and Women’s support

• No wrong door access model, supporting anyone seeking help

• Connection to health, mental health, social, housing and employment support

• A sensory room to provide a calming environment including resources

• Private Telehealth access rooms
