Anne Gawen

Anne is an established CEO and Board Member and has completed her MBA with over 26 years’ experience in the Non-Government sector and a strong background in both grassroots service delivery, strategic business development, financial performance and human resources management. Anne has been an executive leader in the Community Services Sector, including children services, family carers, disability, ageing and mental health services across Australia. Anne joined the board in 2019 taking on the Chairperson’s role in 2021.

Judy Davis

Judy Davis is the General Manager of Operations at CatholicCare NT. Judy is an experienced executive and general manager, with a demonstrated history of working in government and not-for-profit organisations across health, community and social services sectors in both Queensland and the Northern Territory. Judy began her working career as a nurse, moving into the field of public health and community development. Possessing post graduate academic qualifications in Public Health and Organisational Governance, she is skilled in leading management teams to plan, implement and evaluate multi strategic programs that address identified need, deliver quality services and achieve outcomes that make a difference to the lives of individuals and communities. Judy has also developed a depth of knowledge of good governance through various Board and management roles as well as formal studies, bringing these skills to her role on the NTMHC Board. 

Judy is passionate about the work she oversees in her role as General Manager of Operations at Catholic Care NT, relishing the opportunity to contribute to community and family wellbeing in ways that honour the strong and diverse cultures of the Northern Territory. Judy joined the NTMHC Board in 2016, serving as Chairperson for four years and as the current Deputy Chair.

Dr Paul Royce

Paul has over 30 years’ experience in the community services sector holding a number of grass roots, senior management and voluntary positions in social, community and strategic planning, programme development and community service delivery. Paul’s extensive work history is across WA and the NT in local government, academia, family and domestic violence and remote Aboriginal communities. In 2021, Paul relocated back to the Northern Territory to take up the role of Regional Leader of NT Operations at Mission Australia and joined the Board of the NT Mental Health Coalition.

Pam Marwood

BA, BSW, Grad Dip DSI

Pam Marwood is currently employed by Neami National as the Clinical Service manager at Darwin Head to Health and delivers several programs in the NT,  the adult mental health centre in Casuarina, Psychological therapies program, an individual personal support program and Low intensity mental health groups.    Neami National is one the largest community mental health organisations in Australia.  Pam has a career spanning over 30 years in management and community services across both government and nongovernment organisations.    

Pam has an enduring commitment to social justice, equity, and reconciliation.

Anthony Ah Kit (Snr)

Anthony Ah Kit (Snr) was born and raised in Garramilla/Darwin. Anthony’s mob are from Wurrumungu (Tennant Creek) and Waanyi (North West Queensland). For the past 30 years Anthony has worked in primary health care, alcohol and other drugs, community development, mental health and suicide prevention. Anthony utilises his own lived experience and that as a carer to inform his work. Anthony joined the board in 2024, having been on numerous boards throughout his career. 

Nicole Pietsch

Nicole Pietsch is the Chief Executive Officer and Suicide Prevention Lead at the Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA). She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Communications Studies) and Certificate IV Community Services. She has more than 25 years’ experience in communications, community engagement, and health promotion plus an evolving interest in quality improvement in service delivery. She is currently the Chair of the Suicide Prevention Australia Northern Territory Committee and convenes the Central Australia Life Promotion Network.
